Operating the Flash Editor
The Flash Editor allows you to edit your Flash Animation to your specifications. For editable objects in your clip, you’ll be able to manipulate colors, width, height, text, and you can even rotate objects.

When you first open the Flash Editor, depending on the clip you chose, your Flash Clip may only play one time. You can always play the Clip again by clicking the button; or, by making a change to an Object and clicking .

If you made changes to your Flash Clip and don’t like them, you reset your clip to its default settings by selecting .

And, when you’re satisfied with your Flash Clip and are ready to insert it in your web site, click

Each Flash Clip is comprised of several objects that when played together make the total Clip. Objects may be graphical elements – circles, lines, squares, etc. – or they may be text.

To edit the Objects of your Flash Clip,
  1. Select the Object of the clip that you would like to edit from the upper left corner of the window.
  2. Once you select an Object, its editable attributes are presented in the lower left side of the window.
  3. Change any attributes for the Current Object and then click . Your Flash Clip will re-play with your new attributes set.
  4. Continue modifying objects using Steps 1-3 until you are satisfied with your clip. Remember, you can always select to erase your edits and begin again.

Each Flash Clip has been designed with a set of Editable Objects. Each Editable Object has it’s own set of attributes that you may change. For instance, one Text Object may allow you to change the words in the text block and the color of the text. A second Text Object may allow you to change the words in the text block, but not the color. This was done to preserve the quality of the design yet to allow you some design freedom.

If you’ve made changes to your Flash Clip and you really don’t like those changes, simply click . This will erase all of the changes you’ve made to this clip and reset its default attributes.

Once you’ve completed editing your Flash Clip, click the button. More Information on. . . I Want a Different Flash Clip
To select another Flash Clip, close the Flash Editor Window and select another clip from the list to edit.
